Returning to Flicker after a captivating show last January, Porges came prepared with five new original songs and her debut single, All Day Long. Accompanying her on stage were Owen Hite on keys, Nick Cosby on bass, Jack Weatherby on lead guitar, and Alex Scales on drums. Together, they flawlessly executed Porges's intricate songwriting, creating an unforgettable musical experience.

For two hours, Porges and her band blended elements of soul, folk, and jazz to cultivate a vibe that entranced the audience. The lead guitar tone in the song Stateside and Scales's impeccable drumming showcased the band's remarkable cohesion.

As the night progressed, Porges and her band delighted the crowd with an impressive cover of Cry Me a River, reimagined with a groovy neo-psychedelic twist. The band seamlessly infused their own sound into the iconic tune, creating a truly lasting moment.

Porges's extensive experience as a songwriter was apparent throughout the show, as the band's performance was in perfect harmony, effortlessly oscillating between laid-back and rocking. The final song ended with a samba, featuring an incredible solo from Scales on both his drum set and a pair of congas.

Fans can catch her next on April 13th, when she takes the stage at the Georgia Theater rooftop.
